Donation Requests

Thank you for considering The Laboratory as a partner for your event or organization! As a community-driven music store, we’re passionate about supporting musicians, bands, and music programs in our area that align with our areas of focus. We may also contribute to events that benefit other causes that have a musical theme, such as benefits featuring live music performances by local talent. 

To ensure our contributions best serve our local music community, please note:

  • Types of Contributions: We typically offer gift cards, which can be used for auctions or gift baskets, allowing recipients/winners to choose the gear they need. Additionally, we may arrange to donate a portion of any spending beyond the card’s value to the cause if redeemed within a predetermined time frame.
  • Who We Support: We prioritize local musicians, venues, schools, and organizations dedicated to music education and performance, and events for other causes that primarily include a musical theme. Requests outside these areas may not qualify. We give priority to requests from our customers.
  • What We Don’t Fund: While we’d love to support everyone, we generally don’t provide cash, products, or purchase event program ads. Most of the time we do not support sporting events or teams,  or requests from individuals who are not customers.
